South African Wine - Monthly Focus
For one month, the entire world will be watching S. Africa host the 19th FIFA Word Cup, the first ever to be held on the African continent. TLV is celebrating by offering an incredible selection of South African wines including award winning samples from Hamilton Russell, Graham Beck and Neil Ellis. Brush up on conversation starters, grab a unique bottle for dinner, or just contact us to learn more about wines from this vibrant region.
Screaming Eagle Tasting - July 11th 2:00-4:00pm
As part of our celebration of the end of TLV Belltown, TLV will host a tasting of 2002 Screaming Eagle and three other blockbuster wines including California's Opus One, Washington's Quilceda Creek, Bordeaux's Carruades de Lafitte and Tuscany's Gaja. Guests will enjoy paired hors d'oeuvres by Chef Jon Maley as we taste and discuss. Seated tasting. Size is limited and reservations are required. 7 day cancellation policy. Cost: $229/person.
The Last Sip of Belltown - July 31st 7:00pm-2:00am
A last hurrah to usher out TLV's final day in Belltown. $5 raffe tickets for 1999 Dom Perignon, 30% off wine all day (50% off wine by the glass after midnight) and a free TLV t-shirt for anyone who spends more than $50. Join us to celebrate Belltown!
Wine & Food Classes
Note regarding all of our classes: Begin or extend learning about wines by tasting with a sommelier. No experience necessary for these 'no pressure' classes. Taste and evaluate at least 6 different wines during each class. Educational materials (aka 'cheat sheets') provided to take home. Cost: $55/class (unless otherwise noted). Select five classes of your choice for $250.

Learn about the wines that are crafted in our own backyard! The Pacific Northwest has become a major wine producing region. We will learn more about the regional culture and history while tasting some of the fabulous reds and whites that the area has to offer.

Let's Get Sideways! Pinot from Around the World
Pinot is a wine lovers grape and it is made into extraordinary wines in many places around the world. We will explore the classics including Champagne, Burgundy, and Oregon, as well as some up-and-coming wine regions for Pinot.

Wine 101
This ‘no pressure’ class covers the basics about white and red wines, wine evaluations, tastings and selections. Participants will taste, evaluate and discuss at least six different wines during class. Practice tasting techniques, learn about different wine varietals and ask all of the questions you've been too embarrassed to ask before. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about wines – as well as a great gift idea to share with the wine lover (or future wine lover) in your life.

Cheese & Wine Pairings
What kind of cheese goes well with Champagne? Does Bleu Cheese pair nicely with Pinot? There is nothing better than wine and cheese. Learn some simple tricks that will bring ease and elegance to your home or event. Participants will taste six wines that offer perfect pairing for four artisanal cheeses. Learn everything you need to know to impress colleagues, friends and family!
