Tuesday Tasting: TLV Turns 1! - July 8th 5:30-7:30pm

Celebrate The Local Vine's first anniversary by joining us to taste the top sellers from the past year.

$2 Glass Night with Jean-Luc Colombo & Mas de la Dame-July 10th 5:30-7:30pm

Enjoy $2/ glass of exceptional wines from Jean-Luc Colobmo and Mas de la Dame. David Stephan, a wine maker and export director will pour wines including Lean Luc Colombo Cote du Rhone Rouge (red), Jean Luc Colombo Cote du Rhone Blange (white) and Mas de la Dame. Hailed as “the winemaking wizard” of the Rhône, Colombo has achieved a high-profile international reputation and has made a major impact on the evolution of modern French winemaking. Mas de la Dame, or “farm of the women” is owned by Anne Poniatowski and her sister, Caroline Missoffe who, together with Jean-Luc Colombo have redefined the potential of this ancient terroir.

Tuesday Tasting: Wine for BBQ - July 15th 5:30-7:30pm

Taste wines that are perfect for an afternoon spent around the grill with friends and family. We will be tasting wines picked by TLV staff to be enjoyed now and throughout the summer.

Winemaker Event: Sauvignon Republic Cellars - July 17th 5:30-7:30pm

Join Tom Meyer to taste three highly rated Sauvignon Blancs. Sauvignon Republic maintains a tight focus on one varietal only. They are committed to becoming the experts on Sauvignon Blanc. Tom Meyer has been brand director for Kendall Jackson and Fetzer Vineyards and is credited with developing several break through wine products.

Tuesday Tasting: Riesling with Chateau St Michelle - July 22nd 5:30-7:30pm

Join us to taste four exceptional Rieslings with Chateau St MIchelle including: Dr Loosen Eroica, 14 Hands and Ethos Late Harvest White Riesling. All perfect for sunny summer days.

Special Wine Party: A Celebration of Seven Daughters - July 24th 6:00-8:00pm

Seven Daughters is toasting TLV guests with a fun-packed, not to be missed event. Guests will taste two wines from a newly released brand, Seven Daughters Winemaker's Blends. Along with the tasting, there will be complimentary appetizers, take-away gifts, and a raffle (wow!). Guests can also purchase wines by the glass to enjoy further throughout the evening. Bottles will be available at retail to take home to for future enjoyment. Seven Daughters Winemaker's Blends are sophisticated, flirtatious and undeniably fun, yet, full of character, complexity and quality. The wines are crafted to meet the needs of today's wine drinker – a seamless blend of exploration, fun and sophistication.

TLV serves beer, too! Join us to taste some of our staff's favorites.

Winemaker Event: Cor Cellars - July 31st 5:30-7:30pm

Taste wines with Luke Bradford, winemaker. Cor Cellars is an exciting young winery producing high end Bordeaux reds and whites, Alsatian style Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. Located in the Columbia Gorge wine-producing region of Washington state, the winery farms organically and incorporates biodynamics into the estate vineyard. They are also focusing on corkless closures, becoming one of the first Washington wineries to use glass stoppers.

Global Lounge Music Nights - Coming in July (Dates TBD)

Bharat Ranjan of FragmentOne will entertain us by spinning international lounge music. Come infuse your evening with a luscious mix of European house, Latin beats, and chilled Indian lounge. The Local Vine is offering the opportunity to learn the basics of wine and wine tasting. This ‘no pressure’ class will cover the basics about white and red wines, wine evaluations, tastings and selections. Participants will taste, evaluate and discuss at least six different wines during class. Educational materials will be provided to take home.  This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about wines – as well as a great gift idea to share with the wine lover (or future wine lover) in your life. Wine 201

These special seminars are focused on a particular varietal, region or style. These 'no pressure' classes will cover wine evaluations, tasting and selections in a focused seminar-like style. Participants will taste, evaluate and discuss at least six different wines during class. This is a wonderful opportunity to either begin or extend your learning about wines. No prerequisites.
